Human interaction is one of the fundamental building blocks of cooperation. While individuals gain certain benefits through cooperation, things they wouldn’t be able to achieve on their own, their success is based on their spectrum of individual skills, thus cooperation can be understood as a kind of celebration of diversity on multiple levels.
In this work in progress experimental interactive installation we attempt to translate this basic concept into an abstract scene, exploring a simple visual representation of cooperation. We invite the visitors to be part of a playful scenario where players become prisms refracting and transforming lightpasses, revealing fragments of the spectrum, combining and refracting it again.
