Nano vjs: Delights of Time
interactive video installation
2024
Delights of Time is an interactive video installation that invites visitors to explore the intricate relationship between perception, reality, and the flow of time. Inspired by the futuristic paintings of Giacomo Balla and the pervasive influence of contemporary digital narcissism, this installation offers a unique and visually captivating experience.
As visitors step into the installation space, they are greeted by a large screen displaying an array of fragmented images. These images are not mere reflections but rather representations of the visitors themselves, captured and delayed by various time intervals. Each section of the screen showcases a different fragment of the delayed reality, creating a flat tableau of recent past. Installation offers a captivating and thought-provoking commentary on the nature of perception and reality in the modern age. It is a celebration of the fleeting beauty of the present moment, captured and mortalized in the ever-shifting canvas of time.
